Vinco Car Stereo was initially established in Costa Mesa California in 1975 by Vincent Lesse. The original name was Vinco Car Stereo Doctor.

Will Tate purchased Vinco in 1990. Over the years he has worked hard to establish Vinco as a great source for exotic and collector car entertainment systems and other state of the art electronics packages.
